Dual DI Color Grading DaVinci Resolve
Dual DI color grading in DaVinci Resolve: Rec.709 (Gamma 2.4) for OTT streaming and calibrated DCI-P3 for theatrical cinema.
Technical Scope & Production Workflow
Color grading is the emotional lens through which an audience experiences cinematography. GenAI Studio provides master Digital Intermediate (DI) color grading executed on calibrated Barco cinema projectors and Flanders Scientific OLED reference mastering monitors inside DaVinci Resolve Studio.
We operate a dual color-managed ACEScct pipeline that creates two independent, mathematically calibrated masters for every project: a Rec.709 (Gamma 2.4) master calibrated for consumer OLED televisions and streaming platforms (Netflix, Prime Video, Sun NXT), and a true DCI-P3 theatrical master calibrated for laser cinema projection.
Our colorists balance skin tones across contrasting lighting setups, craft signature cinematic look profiles (vintage Eastmancolor, gritty teal-and-orange, golden warm nostalgia), and isolate micro-contrast details in shadows and highlights.
